Meet the team
Nadezda Abela, Founder

A philanthropist Nadezda Abela has always felt very strongly about contributing to the changing the unfairness of life towards the less privileged. After many years of supporting various worthy causes Nadezda decided to make change by opening her own charity in her hometown Tver, Russia in 2015 where she helps disabled children to get a better quality of life and by funding talented kids in their education.

“Children are our future. In order to improve our future and the future of the upcoming generations we ought to start with the very basic steps of ensuring that children and youth have access to education and to medical care. Nadezda foundation changes the lives of children who are born into very challenging life situations by providing them with medical care and education which will contribute into creating a brighter future for them.”

Tatiana Lewin-O’Cuinn, Trustee

After a career in banking in Credit Suisse London, Tatiana has moved to New York, U.S.A. where she got involved in charitable volunteering through New York Cares, and later with New York Junior League. This initiative has lead to Tatiana's engagement in raising funds for the less fortunate. Currently Tatiana is based in Zurich, Switzerland where she lives with her family and fulfils her duties as a trustee for Nadezda Foundation.

“Every child should have the right to reach their full potential. The Nadezda Foundation helps disadvantaged and vulnerable children to achieve just that. Whether it is through providing medical or social support or helping to nurture stand-out talent – our work can make a real difference to the lives of these children and give them the best possible support in life.”

Elena Moore, Trustee

Elena is the founder of Collection-Consulting, Collection-World and a co-founder of the Connexus Academic Advisers agency. Having been an entrepreneur for 10 years made Elena realise that investment in people is the main investment that makes a real impact. Elena has been helping charitable organisations for many years. However, when helping Nadezda Foundation, she has noticed the impact of her efforts straight away. Seeing such impact made Elena commit to Nadezda Foundation as a trustee.

“The satisfaction of knowing that you are helping others, especially children, is one of the most rewarding feelings a person can experience.”

"Being truly involved in charitable activities whichever way I can is my personal decades long commitment and it has been running through my life as a constant, giving me a sense of purpose and strength. I am truly inspired to be involved in Nadezhda’s charitable projects with a specific focus on children, their educational, spiritual and medical needs as it is so close to me and my heart."
